Anonymous, 25 Apr 2020You have a hard time differentiating between a dictatorship and the people governed by such dictators … MoreFirst, you respond using “anonymous”. This is very revealing. You are “afraid” to respond using your own name, which usually implies a “troll”
Second, you declared:
“You have a hard time differentiating between a dictatorship and the people governed by that dictatorship …”
This comment makes no sense … So I can only assume that English is not your native language because you were unable to understand the context of my post;
Third, you declared:
“I also find it strange that you want to be controlled and monitored by your government.”
I am a Canadian Canadian. So my government is the government of Canada, not China, as you are trying to suggest. So, to be clear, as a Canadian who lives in North America, I could care less about what the Chinese government can do with Huawei phones (which are just unproven claims by a U.S. government that is afraid of losing its technological supremacy … and all copyrights accompanying it). At the same time, we have factual evidence that the US government, along with its five partners “Eyes”, uses major American technology giants to collect all of our communication data for the State of Intelligence.
Finally, I’m sorry for you. You obviously live in a world of hate that has consumed you. Such a waste of a human life. Pitty. The good news is that it doesn’t have to be that way … You can also see the world as an observer through the lens of factual history, psychology and spirituality. Of course, you have no idea what I’m trying to explain to you now … but one day you will.
Nick Tagataka, April 25, 2020All applications will still be encoded using Java / Kotlin. Different SDK, maybe, but nobody … MoreJava / kotlin is under the United States so they can hack huawei using this US programming language as well. we don’t know what the future of huawei would be because they are fighting now and have already lost a lot of money, so covid 19 arrived and will see what will be the plan of other countries as they will treat china because of this madness.
kerul, April 24, 2020I can’t stop laughing after reading ‘Now, there was a serious addition’. Seriously? I don’t asp … MoreI use HERE WeGo. In fact, I’ve been uninstalling Google Maps for a long time on my Android phone.
heeneycs, Apr 25, 2020Another anti-Chinese racist troll … Well, now that the US and European governments are showing … MoreYou have a hard time differentiating between a dictatorship and the people governed by that dictatorship …
I also find it strange that you want to be controlled and monitored by your government.
shadow, 24 Apr 2020I don’t think we could see more popular apps going to huawei. lack of gms is difficult you know … MoreAll applications will still be encoded using Java / Kotlin. Maybe a different SDK, but no one will need to use the Chinese programming language you’re talking about.
kerul, April 24, 2020I can’t stop laughing after reading ‘Now, there was a serious addition’. Seriously? I don’t asp … MoreThis is still a great addition to the AppGallery because, before that, there was no great Google Map alternative to start with. It is not about the proportion of users who use Here WeGo Maps compared to those who use Google Maps, but the comparison between this and the rest of the map and navigation applications that existed in AppGellery before its arrival. It will continue to grow rapidly and will become much less painful to deal with in the long run. I don’t see much point in being overly pessimistic about your future, as you are.
To be honest, though, you really ruined your somewhat constructive argument with the last paragraph that shows your xenophobic mentality, on which I suppose your comment was based … one more word.
DexterHR, Apr 25, 2020Of course. Download YouTube Vanced and have fun. There is an application called NewPipe. This is much better than the original youtube app.
kerul, April 24, 2020I can’t stop laughing after reading ‘Now, there was a serious addition’. Seriously? I don’t asp … MoreAnother anti-Chinese racist troll … Well, now that the U.S. and European governments are showing their true colors and forcing Apple and Google to modify their operating systems to track and monitor all their movements and contacts, I think you will be buying into more of your technology. However, for me, as an American, I would be very happy to buy Huawei’s ecosystem without GMS. Who do you think I would rather be spying on? The americans? Europeans? The Chinese? Guess 🙂
Arif238, April 24, 2020Can we watch YouTube on Huawei phones? Of course. Download YouTube Vanced and have fun.
kerul, April 24, 2020I can’t stop laughing after reading ‘Now, there was a serious addition’. Seriously? I don’t asp … MoreAnd I can’t stop laughing at your face. Google Maps is useless twice a day, every day. HERE is the only way, you never used it, but you speak … besides, you can’t speak English, what a bore, because you are not even speaking, you are just trying, and you are already baaad. By the way, HERE was so good that they really exist without providing you with your own privacy leaks, but how can anyone understand this when he thinks Google Maps is really good. The only good thing about this crap, is spam, in spam Groogle maps the champion, I have to know that, I use Android.
Can we watch YouTube on Huawei phones?
- $ 6
LOL they can do anything, but not compete with the giant Google.
Due to the population of China, they are having users from at least one country, but their dream is to stand with Google, which is never possible.
Just see what happened with Nokia Lumia Era with Windows Phone and the world’s NOKIA brand # 1.
Huawei is lucky to be extremely strong in China
Best map always fat and better than google
KondriX, Apr 24, 2020Be brave and accept that the world is not moving around you. I’m using Here WeGo always, first … MoreDear, I already mentioned in my comments that when we are talking about users from all over the world, you cannot say that hey 2% of users are happy with these bla bla apps. And here WeGo is not good in many countries, so there are not many users who use it. Don’t look inside your house, look outside and see what most people are using.
kerul, April 24, 2020I can’t stop laughing after reading ‘Now, there was a serious addition’. Seriously? I don’t asp … MoreBe brave and accept that the world is not moving around you. I’m always using Here WeGo, above all because of its offline maps and, in general, it’s faster and lighter than Google Maps. And who are these ‘we’? Don’t you like that? Don’t use it, it’s that simple. There are still many people who use Here WeGo.
