Cornerstone Credit Union distributes grant money – News – Journal Standard – About Your Online Magazine

FREEPORT – Cornerstone Credit Union recently distributed $ 5,000 to the Freeport Salvation Army’s Pathway of Hope Program.

The money was distributed with the $ 15,000 donation he received as part of the Targeted Impact Fund from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago. The CCU also added $ 2,500 to the total amount.

The FHLB grant program to support relief efforts for the populations most affected by COVID-19 and to promote equality and opportunity for communities of color in Illinois and Wisconsin. Cornerstone received a $ 20,000 grant through the initial FHLB COVID-19 Aid Program in June.
