1 – Tennessee field scorer Brent Cimiglia made three attempts this year. The two losses are surprises from the pre-season selection of First Team All-SEC.
3 – Kentucky players are from Tennessee, freshman DL Tre’vonn Rybka (Dickson), NG Quinton Bohanna (Cordova) and OT Darian Kinnard (Knoxville). The latter two are two of the most important players for the Wildcats in this long-awaited battle in the trenches.
4 – Kentucky fumbles lost this season. Missouri is the only SEC team that has coughed the most.
5 – Times Jarrett Guarantano was fired against Georgia, losing two fumbles in the process. He also launched an interception in Athens. In his only defeat to Kentucky, the Wildcats fired him seven times in 2017.

7 – Total coaches previously worked in the UK or Tennessee. Eddie Gran spent a season with Lane Kiffin and Darin Hinshaw worked for Derek Dooley for three seasons. Tennessee defensive coordinator Derrick Ansley and defensive line coach Jimmy Brumbaugh were on Mark Stoops’ first coaching staff in Kentucky. Pruitt’s right-hand man, Tee Martin, was the recruiting coordinator for Joker Phillips and coach of wide receivers. Most recently, quality assurance assistant Michael Colosimo was GA for Vince Marrow and content recruiting director Clay Bollinger was student recruiting assistant in the UK.
8 – Where Kentucky’s fast defense ranks nationally, yielding only 83.3 yards per game. Tennessee’s onslaught ranks 64th in America.
14 – Incompletions Jarrett Guarantano launched three games against the United Kingdom.
17 – Play drive is how Kentucky started last year’s game, marching 75 yards on the field and occupying more than ten minutes on the clock. Kentucky led 13-0 before Guarantano came into play and brought the Vols back to life.
23 – Tackles by the main tacklers from Kentucky and Tennessee, Henry To’o To’o and Jamin Davis.
26.8% – It is the frequency with which Tennessee converts in the third descent. He ranks 13th in the SEC and 68th out of 76 FBS teams.
