PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Having the right tools is the key to student success.
And now, Mon Valley students will have a supply supply after a recent supply campaign run in part by the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office.
The office partnered with North Versailles Walmart to donate nearly $ 5,000 in notebooks, pens and other items. The office says the goal is to get families that they deserve during this pandemic.
“[We’re doing this] to help the kids, help the students with supplies, ”said Deputy Chief Kevin Kraus of the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office. “Especially during COVID and in times of need, it is a pleasure to be able to come together and work collaboratively to help children.”
Subsequently, deputies delivered supplies to the McKeesport school district.
