Masked shooter steals Federal Credit Union from Omaha Police

Omaha police said the Omaha Police Federal Credit Union was robbed on Monday afternoon. At 1:22 pm, police officers were called in for a robbery at the credit union on 3003 S. 82nd Ave. Police said the suspect entered the credit union wearing a mask and holding a firearm. The suspect demanded money, received an undetermined amount of money and then fled on foot. Witnesses said they watched the suspect, a large black man, get into a white SUV, possibly a Cadillac Escalade and flee to I-80 westbound at high speed.
