District Attorney To Investigate Fatal Shooting By Police Officer Wednesday – About Your Online Magazine


A fatal shot by a Daly City official on Wednesday afternoon is being investigated by the San Mateo County Prosecutor’s Office, Daly City police said.

The policeman contacted people in a vehicle on block 700 on Niantic Avenue just before 2 pm, police said and during the interaction fired his service weapon, hitting an unidentified man.

Police officers provided medical assistance to the man before he was taken to a local trauma center, where he died of his injuries, police said.

A police officer was wounded without risk of death, the police said.
