A Portland market is giving back to local nonprofits this weekend. Slabtown Maker’s Market has more than 40 different vendors where people can shop – all of which are small craft businesses.
The market is held in a 5,000 square foot warehouse so that customers can socially distance themselves. There you can find everything from jewelry and ceramics to clothes and plants for the home.
The stores will be open again on Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm It is located at NW 29th Avenue, just off NW Nicolai Street.
At the end of the weekend, the market will be donating 5% of total sales to local non-profit organizations, such as Raphael House, SEI, Mercado Indígena, among others.
