Conor McGregor seems to be ready for his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. The Notorious One made a bold statement and stated that “fighting is easy” for him.

Conor McGregor’s tweet drew mixed reactions from the world of combat sports.
McGregor was criticized for making the claim, despite being violently knocked out in his most recent fight. The Notorious One is coming out of a second round defeat by TKO in his rematch against Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 (January 2021).
However, some praised Conor McGregor for his confidence and optimism, despite his recent knockout defeat.
The Irish megastar has repeatedly gained wide appreciation for the way it handles its losses.
McGregor is known for the way he has recovered from some of the biggest losses of his career.
Some notable examples are the performances in his rematch against Nate Diaz and his iconic 40-second fight against Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone.
Conor McGregor suffered one of the most notorious defeats of his MMA career, losing to Diaz via submission in the second round at UFC 196 (March 2016).
McGregor’s detractors despised him at that point, only for him to prove they were wrong as he returned to defeat Diaz by majority decision at UFC 202 (August 2016).
Notorio was defeated by archrival Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 (October 2018). After that, McGregor returned spectacularly, defeating MMA legend Donald Cerrone by a technical knockout in the first round at UFC 246 (January 2020).
Conor McGregor faces Dustin Poirier in a successful trilogy at UFC 264
Given that his return to the octagon is only a few months away, it is not surprising to see Conor McGregor increase his fighting and promotion games on social media.
His first fight witnessed The Notorious One defeating Poirier by technical knockout in the first round at UFC 178 (September 2014).
In his rematch, Dustin Poirier made it 1-1 by defeating the Irishman by technical knockout in the second round at UFC 257 (January 2021).
The confrontation trilogy between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier is scheduled to take place at UFC 264 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 10, 2021.
