Port Canaveral hosting COVID-19 vaccine drive-up clinic – About Your Online Magazine


BREVARD COUNTY, Florida. – Port Canaveral officials announced details on Tuesday for an upcoming COVID-19 vaccination clinic in the port.

The drive-up clinic in the Cruise Terminal Terminal 1 parking garage on Discovery Road is scheduled from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Monday, May 10. There will be an interval from noon to 1 pm.

No consultation is required for anyone aged 18 or over who is interested in receiving a Modern vaccine.

The second injection of the Moderna vaccine will be administered on June 9.

The clinic was designed to make the vaccine more accessible to cruise workers and other crews in Port Canaveral.

General surgeon. Dr. Scott Rivkees recently issued a health alert expanding the vaccine’s eligibility to non-Florida residents who provide goods and services in the state, which includes cruise workers.
