Distance Freestyler Abby Grottle to Transfer to Texas A&M After 1 Year at Pitt – About Your Online Magazine

Abby Grottle, a 2020 graduate from Cambridge High School in Milton, Georgia, announced her intention to transfer to Texas A&M University for her remaining NCAA qualification.

Grottle swam in his freshman season at college at the University of Pittsburgh, where he made history on Pitt’s program by becoming the most successful freshman in the ACCs with his 7th place in the free 1650 (16: 28.67). She also scored in the 500 free (23rd, 4: 49.76) and led the 11th place in the free relay (1: 50.55).

In high school, Grottle was a three-time state champion at the US Swimming School and a three-time state champion at Georgia High School. She won the 500 twice (10th, 12th grade) and 200 once (12th).

At Pitt, she improved her lifetime PBs by 500 free, 1000 free and 1650 free. His best SCY times include:
