TORONTO – Make room, van Gogh. A new immersive art experience will celebrate Claude Monet’s masterpieces.

A massive installation dubbed the “Beyond Monet” makes its world premiere on August 5 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Producers say the large-scale exhibition will transform more than 400 paintings into gigantic images, including well-known masterpieces from the “Water Lilies” series.

Considered the largest immersive exhibition in the country, the installation will have more than 4,600 square meters.

Its designers are from Montreal’s Normal Studio, which is also behind the show “Beyond Van Gogh”, which similarly blends moving images and music. Meanwhile, there is another full-scale van Gogh showcase, “Immersive Van Gogh”, by a different team.

Tickets for “Beyond Monet” start at $39.99 for adults and $29.99 for children. They are available at monettoronto.com.
