Trent Grisham is finally back in action.
The Padres outfielder began his rehab assignment on Thursday with Triple-A El Paso, doubling, walking and driving in a run in four appearances on a board. 4-1 defeat in Oklahoma City.
Grisham also stole a base and played seven innings on center field.
Grisham left Priest’s schedule with a bruise on his heel since may 21.
The Fathers said the length of Grisham’s rehabilitation task will be determined by his pace and time on base, as well as how his heel responds on the field.
