Universal CityWalk is hosting a pop-up COVID-19 vaccination site – Daily News – About Your Online Magazine

Come for the jab, stay for a donut? (Possibly if you arrive early.)

Universal CityWalk has partnered with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to host a COVID-19 vaccination pop-up site, which is open from noon to 6 pm. Thursday, June 10th to Sunday, June 13th and Friday, June 18th to Sunday, June 24th.

Walk-ups will be available and appointments can be made in advance at curative.com/sites. Self parking is free for those who book in advance.

The first 100 guests each day who receive a dose of vaccine on site will receive a voucher for a pre-selected candy complimentary to the Voodoo Donut. Voucher must be redeemed on the same day.

Visitors to receive the vaccine must bring a government-issued ID and insurance card. Minors are required to bring government-issued identification (or an alternative such as a birth certificate or school card) and be accompanied by an adult for vaccination. The CDC recommends COVID-19 vaccination for children 12 and older.

The Pfizer-BioNTech and Johnson & Johnson / Janssen vaccines will be administered by Curative. For guests receiving the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine, a second appointment will be scheduled during the first dose of vaccine administered onsite at Universal CityWalk. Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine requires only a single dose.

Universal Studios Hollywood reopened to the public on April 16. To get the most up-to-date COVID-19 protocol at the theme park or CityWalk, go to UniversalStudiosHollywood.com.
