Woman arrested after police say she threatened to blow up county attorney’s office – About Your Online Magazine


An Ottumwa woman is released on bail after police said she threatened to blow up the Wapello County Prosecutor’s Office. Court documents say 30-year-old Siearre Smith made the threat on May 25 and was arrested on Wednesday. She supposedly walked into the lobby and started yelling at the staff. Smith is quoted as saying “this place needs to explode and that’s exactly what I’m going to do”. She was charged with the threat of an incendiary or explosive device, a class D felony.
