Paris Saint-Germain are just one step away from signing Gigio Donnarumma. The latter has decided not to renew his contract with Milan and thus will leave the club free of charge.
According to the latest reports from the trusted L’Equipe (via Guillaume MP), Donnarumma is expected to undergo medical examinations for the French team after the match between Italy and Switzerland. He will earn €8 million a year (€10 million gross) for his new team.
However, as Keylor Navas is PSG’s starting goalkeeper, Donnarumma could be loaned to another club in his first season. Rome has expressed interest before, but No. 99 doesn’t want to join them.
It is important to note that Milan offered the goalkeeper €7 million plus €1 million in bonuses per year, which is not far from PSG’s offer. Anyway, Donnarumma decided to move on and the saga came to an end.
