CFCC, McDonald’s, New Hanover County hosting a hiring event for teens – About Your Online Magazine


High school graduates and teens are you hunting for a job? The New Hanover County Office of Diversity and Equity is partnering with Cape Fear Community College and McDonald’s of Wilmington on “Gigs for Graduates,’ a jobs and college initiative for 2021 high school graduates and teens.

The free event will be held on Sunday, July 25 from 2-5 p.m. at New Hanover County Public Library, .201 Chestnut St. in downtown Wilmington,  on the third floor. Graduates and teens will be able to meet with CFCC representatives to learn about free tuition assistance and sign up for admission for the fall semester. Also McDonalds representatives will be on site to interview teens 16 and older for more than 200 job openings at local stores.
